Share your post-graduation and internship plans

Share your post-graduation and internship plans. Information gathered is used to help current and prospective students learn about career paths of College of Business students. You can share future post-graduation plans as well as past and future internships. And, if you don’t have your plans set, you can also share that so we can better understand when students finalize their plans. Below is a list of survey options:

Post-Graduation Related Options:
• Accepted Job Offer – received and accepted a job offer
• Received Job Offer – received a job offer but have not yet accepted it
• Declined Job Offer – received a job offer but turned it down
• Starting Own Venture – have your own business with a specific plan (not that you want to start one someday)
• Military Service – serving in a branch of the U.S. Military
• Service Organization/Volunteer – volunteer for an organization as your primary career (examples: AmeriCorps and FOCUS)
• Accepted into Graduate School – accepted into another academic program. Do not use this if you are still applying to graduate programs.
• Still Seeking Employment – most common option for students who are still seeking a job
• Still Seeking Education – most common option for students applying to graduate programs but not yet accepted
• Not Seeking – rarely used. Example: taking time after graduation for personal reasons such as travel or family needs.

Internship Related Options:
• Accepted Internship – use this if you have received an internship offer and have accepted that offer OR if you are currently in an internship
• Received Internship – use this if you have received an internship offer but have not yet accepted it
• Declined Internship – use this if you have received an internship offer but turned it down
• Leadership Program/Externship – use this for short term experiences such as accounting leadership development programs
• Starting Own Venture – use this if you have your own business with a specific plan (not just that you want to start one some day)
• Research – use this if you have accepted a research position such as UCARE
• Still Seeking an Internship – this would be the most common option for students who plan to seek an internship in the future.
• Not Seeking an Internship – this would be rarely used. An example may be that you will be studying abroad all next semester so are not seeking an internship now.
