The Clifton Strengths Institute will host the inaugural Student Strengths Leadership Summit on Friday, April 17, offering a one-day, strengths-based leadership experience for undergraduate students of any major.

Students designed the summit for their peers and will lead the sessions, creating an engaging experience focused on applying CliftonStrengths in real, everyday contexts. The event is free for students, includes lunch at Cather Dining Hall and welcomes students at all levels of involvement across campus.

Throughout the day, participants will attend breakout sessions and learn practical ways to apply their strengths in classes, student organizations, campus jobs and internships, and preparation for life after graduation. You'll also be able to exchange ideas for fostering strengths-based leadership with other college campuses, including Colorado State University, Kansas State University, Midland University, University of Nebraska at Kearney and University of Nebraska at Omaha.

This year’s theme, “Lead Where You Are,” encourages students to use their strengths now to make a meaningful impact on campus and beyond.
