Looking for leadership experience? Be a Union Pacific Instructional Assistant for BSAD 111: Professional Enhancement I!

Be an instructional assistant for BSAD 111: Professional Enhancement I– a 12-week fall semester course for First-Year CBA students. Due to a generous donation by Union Pacific Railroad, each selected IA will receive a $300.00 stipend.

You will lead your own group of 28-30 students in a weekly recitation section, supplementing course lectures with activities, attending out-of-class programming events, and grading assignments via Blackboard. IAs will also be asked to attend the weekly lecture associated with their recitation and assist the instructor as needed.

Instructional Assistants can expect to develop their skills in:
- Leadership
- Teaching
- Mentoring
- Public Speaking
- Lesson/Activity development and implementation

Training will be provided in late August. In addition, ongoing guidance will be available to troubleshoot classroom issues and provide assistance as needed.
