In an increasingly unpredictable world, in which entire industries can become obsolete and national borders and alliances are redrawn, what can a young person do to prepare themselves for ANYTHING?

Dan Moore attended Harvard University, where he graduated with honors in three years. He also has an MBA from Vanderbilt University. After starting as an intern during college, he has risen to the office of President of the global sales firm Southwestern Advantage. He is also a principal in Southwestern Consulting, Southwestern’s sales training company with offices in Nashville, London, Prague and Singapore. All told, he has trained more than 85,000 people how to sell, how to lead, and how to get on the path toward achieving their goals in life.

President Moore will be speaking in the Nebraska Union in the Regency Suite on Thursday, February 25 at 7:30 pm.

In his presentation, Dan will talk about the impossibility of predicting what the future business and social environment will be like…necessitating the development of crucial skills like self-knowledge, people knowledge, flexibility and adaptability.

The presentation is open to all students of all majors. We hope you can join us in welcoming Dan Moore to UNL!
