The Business Career Center is seeking an organized employer relations assistant who will support employer outreach and relationship building initiatives.

While helping us connect students and employers, the intern also benefits by working with talented professionals who can help you with your own career! The intern will work on projects such as:
- Research employers for specific projects to increase employer connections to undergraduate and MBA students
- Maintain and update records of employer interactions in customer relationship management system
- Communicate with employers in person, via telephone or email
- Greet employers conducting interviews, participating in Employer in Residence, or assisting with classes
- Enter and analyze data related to student and employer participation in programs or services
- Assist with events and programs
- Schedule appointments and direct phone calls while providing front desk coverage
- Assist in maintaining office appearance such as refiling supplies and preparing employer interview rooms
- Work on projects to support the needs of Business Career Center staff
- Conduct research to assist with data collection
- Create and coordinate an event or program related to career development that connects students and employers

Requirements:
- Available to work 8-12 hours per week (primarily within an 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday-Friday schedule); student must be available to work over the lunch hour several days each week
Able to use Microsoft Office programs with a high attention to detail.
- Possess strong communication skills, (including accurate spelling and grammar)
- Possess strong customer service and problem solving skills
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow University and College of Business confidentiality standards regarding sensitive information
- Preference for College of Business student
