
The College of Business Career Center is seeking its second class of energetic, engaging, and career-minded Peer Career Coaches to assist in coaching BSAD 222 & 333 students. Based on your course performance/experience as a (insert here), I think you should consider this opportunity. Below is a little more information about the position.
What You’ll Gain
* Develop and strengthen your coaching abilities
* Build relationships with students and be a mentor on how to navigate and understand career decision-making, résumé development, and the internship/job search process
* Understand and reflect on your career development while building your communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
Qualifications:
* Demonstrate excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication with diverse populations and personality types
* Be able to work independently, take initiative and solve problems
* Ability to work collaboratively and cooperatively with a team of professionals
* Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
* Be a current undergraduate or graduate UNL student in good academic standing
o If a business student, successfully completed BSAD 222
o Preference given to a student who has successfully completed BSAD 222 & 333
* Available to work up to 10 hours a week during the 2019-2020 academic year
