Graduate departments encouraged to create Accelerated Master’s Programs

Archived Story: This article is part of our newsletter archives. It has been preserved for reference, but the information may no longer be current.

Accelerated Master’s Programs allow highly qualified undergraduate students at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln to take graduate courses during their senior year that count toward both the bachelor’s degree and master’s degree in the same or closely related discipline. Students are therefore able to complete the master’s degrees in a reduced amount of time.

The Office of Graduate Studies encourages departments to create Accelerated Master’s Programs using the protocol described on our website.
