The UNL Agronomy Club is hosting their annual Experience Agronomy Day for Nebraska FFA chapters Feb. 27. This year, it will be open to all Nebraska high school students and take place 10 a.m. to noon, virtually, via Zoom.
In 2020, a total of 28 high school students from eight FFA chapters attended the event to prepare for the State FFA agronomy contest and to learn basic agronomy skills.
Students will learn to identify crops, weeds, insects and diseases as well as gain insight into agronomic career possibilities.
