The University of Nebraska Viticulture Program and the Nebraska Winery and Grape Growers Association will host the Harvest Field Day Aug. 8 at Oak Creek Vineyards near Raymond, Nebraska.

Topics will include pre-harvest considerations, harvest challenges including labor, viewing of the machine harvester – in action if grapes are ready, review of crop estimation – help the wineries with planning, progress of the new Free Grape Quality Test Service program and post-harvest management, including diseases and vine nutrition.

This free event will have registration and social time at 8:30 a.m. with the program starting at 9 a.m.
