You can start the official One Week countdown right now! That's because in one week, Feb. 15 starting at noon, #GlowBigRed 2023 will commence.
Glow Big Red starts at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 15, and continues through noon on Thursday, Feb. 16. Huskers from around the world will come together for 24 hours to raise money for scholarships, colleges, programs, student organizations, inclusion, mental health and many other areas at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.
In honor of five years of Glowing, we're hoping for 5,000 gifts this year!
You can help us in three ways:
GIVE: Make a gift of $5 or more during the 24-hour period to help us reach our goal!
SHARE: Share your Husker Pride on social media by participating in the Husker Pennant Post Challenge! Download your pennant here and follow the instructions to participate in the challenge. For every pennant post on social media using #GlowBigRedPennant, $1 (up to $2,500) will be donated to the UNL Student Hardship Fund.
GLOW: Make your room, home or business glow to let your Husker pride shine!
Your gift will increase opportunities for agronomy and horticulture students to make the most of their NEBRASKA experience and assist with their development into agricultural professionals. Donations will help undergraduate and graduate students with travel support, professional meetings participation, competitions, professional development opportunities, and hosting symposiums and speakers.
