The last Agronomy and Horticulture seminar of the semester will be April 23

Jeewan Jyot, the director of licensing at NUtech Ventures, will present “Bridging the Research Translation Gap: Strategies for Technology Transfer,” at 11 a.m. CDT April 23 in Keim Hall, Room 150 or streamed live via Zoom at https://go.unl.edu/seminars.

NUtech Ventures serves as Nebraska's technology transfer office, dedicated to commercializing scientific discoveries, intellectual property and innovations developed in university labs. Its process involves identifying protectable innovations like patents and copyrights, assessing their market potential and establishing licensing agreements with commercial partners or forming new spin-off companies. The presentation will discuss NUtech’s procedures, timelines and overall impacts.
