The University of Nebraska-Lincoln Department of Agronomy and Horticulture and the University of Georgia Department of Horticulture are working with Seed Your Future to promote plant careers at an event for students on March 23 at 3:30 p.m., CDT, in Keim Hall, Room 150 on Nebraska East Campus.
Industry leaders will meet and invite students to join virtually for a conversation. Students will have the opportunity to speak with these leaders about how to promote more plant-related careers, make connections, be a change-maker and shape the future of plant-related careers.
Confirmed industry partners attending virtually include Ball Horticultural Company, Corteva Agriscience, Society of American Florists, Longwood Gardens, Proven Winners, Syngenta Flowers, Bailey Nursery, The Chicago Botanic Garden, The Morton Arboretum, RosaPrima, Pennsylvania Horticultural Society, Hummert International and The Arboretum at Penn State.
