Peace Corps Prep is a program for undergraduates that combines UNL coursework, hands-on experiences, and professional development opportunities to prepare you for working in international development. Benefits include mentorship, intercultural and professional resources, and study abroad scholarships. Upon completion of the program, receive a certificate directly from the Peace Corps and a competitive edge when applying for Peace Corps service.
If you are interested in joining the next cohort of the PC Prep program, apply by February 15. All undergraduate students in good standing are eligible and should apply at least two semesters prior to graduation. Students from traditionally underrepresented communities are strongly encouraged to apply. International students may complete the PC Prep program, but applicants serving in the Peace Corps must be U.S. citizens.
