AJAY NAIR, professor and extension vegetable specialist from the Department of Horticulture at Iowa State University, will present “Sustainable Vegetable Production from the Land of Corn and Hogs,” on Thursday, Feb. 29 at 11 a.m. in Keim Hall 150 or streamed live via Zoom at https://go.unl.edu/agrohortseminar.
This seminar will focus on research conducted in the area of sustainable vegetable production and Nair will provide a quick snapshot of the agriculture industry in Iowa. Research topics will include cover crops, conservation tillage, integrated systems, and soil amendments such as biochar.
