With help from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln Department of Agronomy and Horticulture faculty and CASNR, Lincoln Public School students learned how much agriculture impacts their everyday lives in Nebraska.

Lefler Middle School and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources teamed up to plant seeds for potential college and career pathways for a group of Lefler students.

The middle school’s 6th grade AVID students explored the field of soybean production on UNL’s east campus.

The scholars learned about math, agriculture and horticulture during the visit.
