The Power of Husker Women, A Night of Celebration is March 6

The Nebraska Women’s Leadership Network and the Chancellor’s Commission on the Status of Women invite all alumnae, faculty, staff and students to kick off Women’s History Month with The Power of Husker Women: A Night of Celebration on Thursday, March 6 at 5:30 p.m. at the Wick Alumni Center.

The event will feature a panel including College of Journalism and Mass Communications Dean Shari Veil, Johnny Carson Endowed Director in Emerging Media Arts Megan Elliott and student regent Elizabeth Herbin. The recipients of the Women of Service Awards will also be honored by Chancellor Rodney Bennett.

This event will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Wick Alumni Center (1520 R St., Lincoln). The cost is $40 for alumnae, faculty and staff and $20 for students. Your dinner and drinks are included with your reservation fee. Don’t forget to bring a friend even if they are not a part of The Network.
