Final Prep
Cory Schumacher, a senior plant and landscape systems major, prepares his final landscape design project in PLAS 469 Ecological Landscape Design to present to the Lower Platte North Natural Resource District.
In the class, students created detailed landscape plans for public, private, and commercial clients involving integration of ecological and environmental assessment, the design process and management considerations. Individuals and collaborative teams developed concepts and details, conducted client meetings and studio critiques, and gave a final presentation to a client. The course is taught by Kim Todd, professor of agronomy and horticulture.
Schumacher received a Bachelor of Science in PLAS in May and now works as a noxious weed inspector for Lancaster County.
