Agronomy and Horticulture IMPACT 2026 is March 3–4
You’re invited to participate in Agronomy and Horticulture IMPACT 2026 – Innovation and Partnerships for the Future, to be held March 3–4 at Nebraska Innovation Campus, hosted by the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture.
On Tuesday, March 3, the Water and Integrated Cropping Systems Conference will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Nebraska East Union. We hope many WICS attendees will stay and visit Nebraska Innovation Campus, 2021 Transformation Drive, for the Institute of Agriculture and Natural Resources Heuermann Lecture.
The Heuermann Lecture will be hosted in conjunction with the Agronomy and Horticulture IMPACT 2026 Conference. The lecture, “The Elephant in the Room: Building Bridges for Better Agricultural Solutions,” is at 4 p.m. in the Nebraska Innovation Campus Conference Center auditorium.
Join Tamar Haspel, columnist for The Washington Post, as she explores how constructive dialogue can bring people together to address some of the most complex challenges in food and agriculture.
The department invites faculty, staff, students and stakeholders to stay after the Heuermann Lecture for the IMPACT 2026 Conference Kickoff Mixer at 6 p.m. Please join us for posters, displays, demonstrations and opening remarks from Derek McLean, Dean of Research, and Charles Stoltenow, Dean of Extension.
On Wednesday, March 4, Agronomy and Horticulture will host the IMPACT 2026 Conference – Innovation and Partnerships for the Future, from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. This department-wide showcase and strategy conference will highlight Agronomy and Horticulture’s collective achievements in teaching, research and extension while fostering collaboration across disciplines and with industry, agencies, commodity boards and community stakeholders.
