The next agronomy and horticulture seminar is Feb. 19.
Harkamal Walia, professor in the Department of Agronomy and Horticulture at the University of Nebraska–Lincoln, will present “Grain Development Under Higher Temperature,” at 11 a.m. CST in Keim Hall, Room 150 or streamed live via Zoom at https://go.unl.edu/seminars.
His seminar will use cereal crops to explain why grain development is highly sensitive to heat stress and explore opportunities to mitigate the issue.
