The Department of Agronomy and Horticulture welcomes back Sam Wortman. A former department Ph.D. student, Wortman started in a new position May 16 as Environmental Horticulturist.
Wortman's appointment is 75 percent teaching and 25 percent research. His research program will focus on local, urban, and organic fruit and vegetable production systems and will be teaching Plant Propagation (HORT 221) and other classes in the department.
