Country artists Easton Corbin and Brooke Eden will perform at 8 p.m. Sept. 21 on the East Campus Mall for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln's free homecoming concert.
In 2010, Corbin became the first male country artist in 17 years to have his first two singles, "A Little More Country Than That" and "Roll With It," from his self-titled debut album, reach No. 1. He spent 2016 touring with Carrie Underwood. His newest single, "A Girl Like You," from his upcoming fourth studio album, was released earlier this year.
Eden started her career in her early teens, playing festivals and opening for such acts as Alan Jackson and Brooks and Dunn. She auditioned for "American Idol" in 2008, making it through to the Hollywood week. She released her first single, "Daddy's Money," in 2015.
The concert is sponsored by the University Program Council and KX 96.9, along with ASUN Student Government, the Residence Hall Association, Student Involvement and the College of Agricultural Sciences and Natural Resources.
