If you've been thinking about getting involved in undergraduate research or creative activity, now is the time to apply for a UCARE research assistantship for the 2019-2020 academic year. Receive a $2400 research stipend and experience hands-on learning from a faculty adviser next school year. Academic Year 2019-2020 applications are accepted February 4 - March 11. Academic Year UCARE 2019-2020 recipients commit to 10 hours per week on their project for a $2400 stipend and will present their research at the annual Spring Research Fair in April 2020. Skill-building seminars on topics like graduate school preparation and professional presentation skills are offered throughout the year to enhance the UCARE experience.

Projects from all colleges are disciplines are highly encouraged. If you're unsure how to develop a UCARE project in your field, contact Justina Clark at jclark17@unl.edu to discuss your research or creative interests.

Students must confirm a project and faculty advisor before applying. Visit the UCARE website for full eligibility requirements and to learn more about identifying a faculty advisor or developing your research proposal.
