The KU Society For Biomaterials Student Chapter is excited to host Great Plains Biomaterials Day on Saturday, March 21st from 9:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. This event aims to highlight the innovative and translational biomaterials research in the region and bring together students, academic researchers, clinicians, industrial sponsors and teachers to advance biomaterials research and cultivate collaboration in the region. The 2020 scientific program will feature a keynote lecture by Dr. Angela Pannier from University of Nebraska-Lincoln, two featured talks from researchers in the region, student rapid fire talks (selected from abstracts submitted) and a poster session. Students and postdoctoral researchers are encouraged to submit an abstract for a selected rapid fire talk or the poster session. Registration is free and includes breakfast and lunch. Student and recent grad attendees will receive a complimentary membership to the national Society For Biomaterials
