As a Civil/Structural Designer, you will use AutoCAD/Civil 3D software to create plans and provide design services for a multitude of projects including but not limited to :
Land Development, Public, and Private infrastructures development
Mixed-use projects, schools, sports fields, and industrial, and governmental projects
Job components included within the projects:
Develop Site Layout design
Develop Structural design drawings
Water Resource Development
Roadway Design
Grading and Profiling
Attend client meetings with Engineers
Prepare construction cost estimates
Travel to job sites for observations
As a Civil/Structural Designer, you will perform these duties under a licensed engineer.
Qualifications
• Junior at the University with a good standing
• Ability to work collaboratively with others
• Demonstrated problem solving and critical thinking skills
• Having ownership in the work you do
• Using your talents to positively affect communities
• Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
• Experience with AutoCAD
• General understanding of engineering plans and documents
