Let's transform trash into infrastructure solutions!

I am looking for two undergraduate students interested in developing Sustainable Infrastructure Materials. Hours are flexible so you can manage your class work with extracurricular activities.

The main duties include:
• Prepare materials for asphalt concrete (sieve waste plastics, recycled aggregate concrete, and conventional aggregates)
• Perform mixing and compaction of asphalt samples.
• Learn/execute AASHTO and ASTM standards related to Hot-Mix Asphalt (HMA) characterization
• Attend research meetings.

What do you get:
• You get paid $14/h - up to 10h/week.
• Learn experimental techniques, how analyze results, and design experiments.
• Mentoring 1:1 with Dr. Teixeira
• Improve your presentation skills and engage with grad students.
• Potentially finish a project for publication/conference.
