These positions are unique to the engineering world because they work on all aspects of complex agricultural and environmental projects and will grow knowledge quickly.

The internship position is applicable to current engineering students, see the ‘qualifications’ section of the job announcement. Candidates selected from this announcement may be eligible for non-competitive conversion to a permanent position upon graduation and when other program requirements are met.

The NRCS is a government agency under the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) that works directly with environmental issues on private lands. NRCS treats natural resource concerns such as water quality, soil health, air quality, grazing lands health, livestock waste systems, and flood reducing dams.
