WEF InFLOW Scholarship: Introducing Future Leaders to Opportunities in Water - due February 27

WEF InFLOW STEMpath Scholarship Summary
WEF InFLOW STEMpath Scholarship Summary

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) believes that the water workforce should reflect the communities we serve. The WEF InFLOW (Introducing Future Leaders to Opportunities in Water) STEMpath program is a scholarship opportunity that engages undergraduate and graduate students representing historically underrepresented racial and/or ethnic groups and introduces them to career opportunities in the water sector through WEF programs and events.

The 2024 InFLOW STEMpath program is currently soliciting universities, undergraduate, and graduate students to apply to be a part of this unique experience. If accepted, university scholars will be participating in a dual program to attend both virtual events and WEFTEC 2024 in New Orleans, LA, the largest annual water quality event of its kind.

Program Details:
• The 2024 InFLOW program includes a combination of events at WEFTEC 2024. Programming includes an introduction to different careers and technical topics in the water sector, job readiness coaching, and multiple networking opportunities.
• WEF ensures that scholars will not have to provide any financial support to participate in the program. Sponsors cover the cost of airfare, lodging, registration, and meals while at WEFTEC.
• InFLOW reaches beyond WEFTEC, with opportunities to engage in career opportunities, internships, and scholarships through WEF’s Students & Young Professional programming.

*NEW in 2024: Applications must be submitted by the student directly this year with a Faculty/Professor Sponsor. Undergraduate and graduate students may apply directly to the program.
