Federal Lands Highway (FLH) designs and oversees construction of roads, bridges, and trails in our public lands with the purpose of providing transportation engineering assistance for a safe, reliable, and resilient transportation system for all.
We accomplish this by delivering projects from inception to completion. To ensure delivery, FLH must apply innovative and diverse solutions to the unique projects we undertake, building infrastructure that meet the transportation community's standards while balancing, respecting, and protecting the resources in which they are located.
We are the only agency delivering projects to improve the transportation infrastructure owned by the following agencies: National Park Service, US Fish and Wildlife Service, USDA Forest Service, Bureau of Land Management, and Bureau of Reclamation.
