The Future Faculty in Engineering Workshop is designed to broaden participation in the nation’s engineering faculty ranks by equipping scholars who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents with the foundation for a successful faculty career in an engineering discipline.
This exciting, all-expenses-paid, four-day program is tailored for postdoctoral scholars or doctoral students in their final two years of study. It offers an invaluable opportunity to learn about academic careers and gain insights into thriving in a faculty position. Participants will also have the chance to engage with current junior and senior faculty, ask questions about their paths into academia, and explore the factors that influenced their career decisions.
