The Nebraska Section of the Institute of Transportation Engineers (NITE) is hosting a student meet and greet on Thursday, October 23, from 10:30 - 11:30am in the Kiewit Hall (KH) 2nd Floor West Commons with professionals from the Nebraska Department of Transportation (NDOT), the Iowa Department of Transportation, JEO Consulting Group, Schemmer, and Benesch.
The meet and greet will be followed by a NITE General Meeting at 12:00 - 1:00pm in Kiewit Hall A235, where Hallie Salem and Collin Christopher from the City of Lincoln will speak about Project "O" Street. Project "O" Street is a major reinvestment in Lincoln's downtown main street and will replace aging infrastructure and enhance public spaces.
Students can RSVP at nebraska@itedsc.org by noon on October 21st to be included in lunch served during the presentation.
