
The Slam will highlight faculty sharing their research ideas and vision in engaging five-minute presentations. A panel of judges from the Lincoln community will select the winner, who will receive a monetary prize. Audience members will vote on their favorite presenter, who will receive a special audience choice award.
This year’s Slammers are:

-Ran Wang, School of Natural Resources, “Breathing Earth: Monitoring Ecosystem Physiology from ABOVE”
-Susan VanderPlas, statistics, “Data Visualizations: Intuitive Statistics Without Fear”
-Shannon Bartelt-Hunt, civil and environmental engineering; “Clean Water: Honestly, It is for Everyone”
