Agricultural and biotechnology innovation requires engineers who understand more than technical design. This course prepares students to connect engineering with entrepreneurship through design thinking, customer discovery,
commercialization strategy, ecosystem engagement, and venture development.
Students will learn how to identify opportunities, validate solutions, develop business models, and navigate the pathways needed to bring ag/bio innovations from idea to impact.
In the course, you will work alongside farmers and industry mentors to identify and solve real-world problems. Students will also have the opportunity to
compete for mini-awards to support promising early-stage project ideas.
