I’d like to make you aware of an upcoming opportunity. GEO-Omaha 2018, 35th Annual Geotechnical Conference will be taking place on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 8:00 AM-4:45 PM at the DC Centre in Omaha and the Civil Engineering Department has agreed to cover the registration fee for students interested in attending!
The 35th annual geotechnical seminar provides a forum for the presentation of a wide variety of geotechnical field, design, and construction-related topics. In addition to covering student registration fees, the Civil Engineering Department will be providing a shuttle between PKI in Omaha and the DC Center. The shuttles will leave PKI at 9:30 AM and 11:30 AM and depart the DC Center at 4:45 PM and 5:00 PM. The shuttle times have been established in coordination with the N-E-Ride Shuttle Schedule in order to accommodate students traveling from Lincoln.
