eConstruct HIRING STRUCTURAL ENGINEERING

eConstruct is an engineering firm that is focused on providing elegant, cost-effective engineering solutions to design challenges of bridges, high-rise buildings, precast concrete engineering and post-tensioning design. The firm's core work is structural engineering; however, eConstruct is taking an increasingly holistic approach to buildings and has emerging practices in MEP design, geotechnical and emerging construction technology such as 3D printing and 3D laser scanning. We have two US offices, one in Omaha, Nebraska and another in Orlando, Florida. We have offices in Dubai, UAE and several other countries, with opportunities for involvement in record setting structures.
Position Description
We have an immediate opening for a structural engineer in our Orlando, Florida office. We are also expanding in Omaha and the other offices. The Orlando office requires that the structural engineer perform design and analysis for the architectural and structural precast concrete members and systems: conventionally reinforced, pre-stressed, and insulated wall panel systems. Individuals are expected to apply theoretical knowledge of structural engineering concepts and principles, as well as experience working in the construction field, to perform the duties of the position.
Responsibilities include: preparing design calculations, reports and spreadsheets in accordance with applicable contract documents; perform structural modeling using software; conduct finite element analysis structural elements and systems; Connection design and detailing; providing structural engineering support to other disciplines including civil engineers, architects, precasters, sales and estimating.
The position requires as a minimum a bachelor’s degree in structural, civil, or architectural engineering, with a preference for a master’s degree. Experience is a plus.
