Parking and Transit Services is implementing a virtual permit system for the Lincoln campus. With the new License Plate Recognition, vehicle license plates serve as permit identification.
To be included in the parking permit system, faculty and staff must register their vehicles online and pay appropriate permit fees. The vehicle is then eligible to park in designated campus areas.

During the morning of Thursday, March 24, the south entrance of the Stadium Drive Garage will be closed. A crane will be in that area for a construction project.
Vehicles can still access the garage through the north entrance.

University of Nebraska campuses in Lincoln, Kearney and Omaha, including UNO and UNMC, have reciprocal parking agreements.
Valid parking permits from NU-system institutions are accepted for work-related visits to these other campuses.

The Passport mobile parking app provides smartphone payment access for campus parking meters. Passport has expanded access through a partnership with Google.
