With the License Plate Recognition Program, the license plate is the parking permit identification for campus parking area access. The vehicle must park so the license plate is visible from the drive aisle.

Students who live in on-campus resident housing may purchase a parking permit for a guest to park on campus overnight.
This special permit allows the guest to park near resident housing on surface lots R1 or R2. If the guest will not be parking overnight on campus, a regular Guest and Visitor Permit may be purchased.

University students can use an on-call campus van transportation service during the evening. The service provides rides between designated campus bus stops after the end of daily bus route schedules. There is no additional cost for this service.
The service is available weekdays in perimeter permit areas beginning at 6 p.m. and at campus bus stops at 9 p.m. The service runs until 11:30 p.m. each weeknight.

Parking and Transit Services provides access to electric vehicle charging stations on campus.
On City Campus, four charging stations are located on 14th Street in parking spots west of Howard L. Hawks Hall. On East Campus, two charging stations are available north of the Union.
