Parking plans set for Paisley concert

To accommodate the Country Nation College Tour Brad Paisley concert, parking adjustments will be made on the Downtown Campus on October 12 and 13. The concert will be held on October 13 in the parking lot north of Memorial Stadium.

Permit Parking
Parking in the concert area, a designated C lot, will be prohibited, beginning at 6 p.m. October 12, and all day October 13. Permit holders for this C lot can park in the 14th & Avery Garage the day of the event.

Evening Classes
Parking for evening classes on October 13 will operate as normal. Permit holders will have access to non-reserved parking areas, commuter student C and faculty and staff A, beginning at 3 p.m. and most reserved areas at 4 p.m. Non permit holders may purchase parking in the public parking areas identified below for $5 or park using a debit or credit card in the 17th & R Street Garage for $1 per hour. Please allow time to find parking as traffic and public parking will increase beginning at 4 p.m. the day of the event.

Traffic
To accommodate concert set up, lane closures on Stadium Drive and Salt Creek Roadway will begin at 6 p.m. October 12 and continue through October 13.

On October 13, vehicles parked in the A and C lots by the Champions Club must exit to U Street. No direct exit to Stadium Drive will be allowed.

Public Parking
To accommodate the event, limited public parking will be available on campus in the areas shown below, beginning at 4 p.m.
Each vehicle will be charged $5 for event parking.

Areas that will be available to the public include:
• Stadium Drive garage
• Parking lot north of the 501 building
• Parking lot Stadium Drive south of T Street
• Parking lot by Champions Club
• Parking lot at 10th and U Streets
• Parking lot west of 14th and Avery Garage
• 14th and Avery Garage
• Parking areas on Memorial Mall east of the Stadium

****Vehicles with UNL Parking Permits****
There are no additional charges for vehicles with current UNL parking permits in designated campus areas.

All campus parking rules will be enforced, including posted Handicapped and No Parking areas.

Park and Go – City of Lincoln
Park and Go will sell parking to accommodate the event, beginning at 3 p.m. Each vehicle will be charged $5 at the following locations
• Larson Building
• Que Place Garage
• Market Place Garage
• Haymarket Garage
