Parking rules shift for Husker football game days

The return of Husker football will bring minor changes to campus parking in the hours before kickoffs at Memorial Stadium.

Game day parking enforcement begins at 10 p.m. the day before home games and continues hours after the final whistle. Avoid game day parking tickets or impoundment by contacting Parking and Transit Services with questions.

For students living on campus and using resident parking permits:
• The permit is only valid in its assigned surface lot or garage on home football days.

For faculty, staff and students living off campus and using university parking permits:
• Faculty, staff and students with commuter permits may park in the following lots on game days:
o surface lots at 16th and X streets (near the Boathouse) and 1700 Y St.;
o perimeter lot at 15th and Court streets; and
o Devaney Sports Center lots.
