UNL Parking and Transit Services

City of Lincoln enforces winter parking rules

In the event of winter storms, the City of Lincoln may invoke special parking regulations to assist with snow removal. The rules apply only to streets maintained by the city and not university parking areas. Violators of these rules may receive tickets or vehicles can be towed.

For more information, including rules and maps, or to sign up for snow-removal alerts, go to https://snow.lincoln.ne.gov.

Streets adjacent to City, East and Nebraska Innovation campuses are maintained by the city. These streets on City Campus include 14th, 16th, 17th, Vine and W streets, as well as Stadium Drive. All streets within East Campus boundaries are maintained by the university.
