Campus parking access expands during summer and late day hours

Access to campus parking areas expands during summer and after peak hours for permit holders.

Permits provide access to designated lots and garages during set periods. During the summer, permit holders may park in additional campus areas.
• Permits for areas C, R, and E are interchangeable.
• Garage permits may park in C and R areas.

Order parking permits now; no increase in cost

Parking permits are available for summer sessions and for the 2018-19 academic year.
• Summer session permits must be displayed to coincide with that session.
• Annual permits and nine-month permits must be displayed beginning Aug. 13.

For the fourth consecutive year, parking permit rates are unchanged.

Order a permit online:
• Student permits options are detailed at https://go.unl.edu/59ws.
o Parking permits for students who live on campus coordinate with housing facilities.
• Submit permit purchase at https://parking.unl.edu/student-parking-permit-purchase-guide.
• Permits ordered online will mail beginning July 16.

In person permit sales begin July 2 for students:
• Permits will be available at Parking and Transit Services office, 625 Stadium Drive, Suite A.
• Complete, print and bring the Printable Application Form available at https://go.unl.edu/0em0.

 

Mobile bus pass link will be distributed in August

StarTran bus passes are provided to students and are funded by student transit fees.

A new mobile bus pass app will be introduced for the 2018-19 academic year. Steps to download and activate the bus pass will be sent by email this summer.
