Winter weather parking rules apply to city streets

When snow and severe winter weather conditions impact Lincoln, specific rules for parking on city streets take effect. Plan ahead to meet these guidelines.
• The city can declare a snow emergency and ban parking on emergency snow routes, arterial streets and city bus routes.
• Parking restrictions can take effect for streets in snow removal districts.
• Additional rules can apply to residential streets.

City of Lincoln streets include those adjacent to campus.
• For City Campus, this includes 14th Street, 16th Street, 17th Street, Vine Street, W Street and Stadium Drive.
• On East Campus, the university maintains streets within campus boundaries. City streets border the campus.
