With 100 days until Drupal 7 is shut down, now is the time to start moving your site to Next-Gen CMS if you haven't already started. To sign up for an upcoming training session, visit the cms.unl.edu website.
These sessions are on the first and third Tuesdays of the month at 9:00 a.m. and last roughly 90 minutes. They cover the basics of building out a site, including how to use different content types to build out directory pages, news items, and webforms, as well as the basics of using Layout Builder for creating pages with more advanced layouts.
Upcoming dates include:
- September 17
- October 1
- October 15
Online documentation for Next-Gen CMS is being updated as new features go live and covers everything from the basics of the WYSIWYG editor, to explanations of the new Media Library, the different content types available in the CMS, and specific information on all the different components that can be used in Layout Builder.
Real-time answers to questions are also available from Monday – Friday between 8 a.m. – 5 p.m. at https://unlwdn.slack.com.
