The underlying software of UNL CMS will be upgraded to its next major version, Drupal 11, on October 19, and will incorporate UNL Framework 6, which was released in the summer.
This update should require no work on the part of website owners. Drupal 11 is focused on modernizing the backend architecture of the system, rather than making major changes to the frontend user experience or authoring interfaces. The update should result in speedier performance and increased reliability for the system, which powers the largest and busiest website of any public entity in Nebraska.
