Deployed Features and Issue Fixes

  • Most module upgrades were completed to support the transition to Drupal 11.


Finalized and In Review
  • Resolved an issue that prevented users from successfully editing their own person pages and adding a personal website or other links.
  • Removal of invalid aria-label attributes from telephone links.
  • Enhanced the Upcoming Events component to support displaying between 2 to 12 events.
  • The Editor role no longer has the ability to upload files.
  • The new Aggregation component now prevents duplicate news items from being displayed.
  • Removed lazy loading module to fix image display issues


In Development
  • Update Timeline component styles to resolve layout issues.
  • Replace poor-quality alt text with AI-generated alt text where appropriate.
  • Fix link generation issues for non-unl.edu domain sites.
  • Add help text to News Aggregation blocks and other custom components/modules.
  • Address issues with news item contacts on News pages after employees leave the university.
  • Add per-page Metatag configuration options.
  • Drupal 11 Upgrade: Update contributed and custom modules to their latest versions.
