We will be meeting tomorrow for another Philosophers Chat and our first in-person session with Janelle Gormley. Janelle is a second-year PhD student and teaching assistant with interests in friendship, Aristotelian virtue ethics, and philosophical pedagogy. The topic for this week's meeting will be "Are we really friends, tho?" - What does it mean for two people to be friends? Is it just a feeling? Are one-sided friendships real friendships?
We will be meeting from 6.30-7.30pm as per usual. Please note that this week's meeting will be in person at LPH 308. If you are interested in participating but will not be able to join us in-person, please let me know beforehand and I will try to make a hybrid situation work.
