The Ethics Center is looking for undergraduate UNL students to participate in the Intercollegiate Ethics Bowl competition in November, 2013 in Boulder, CO. Ethics Bowl is a fun and exciting competition where students from across the country debate and discuss a broad range of contemporary ethical and social issues.

In recent years, this competition addressed (among many others) questions like:


• Should universities allow students or instructors to carry concealed firearms on campus?

• Should so-called “Gay Conversion” Therapy be prohibited?

• Would it be ethical for Guatemala to legalize drugs?



If you are interested in joining the UNL Ethics Bowl Team please attend our informational meeting on Thursday September 5th from 4:00-5:30 in the City Campus Student Union (room posted in the Union). If you cannot make it to the meeting you can contact us in the following ways:
