The W.H. Thompson Scholars staff understands the value that supportive family and friends play in a student’s success in college and the importance of allowing family and friends to feel informed about the experiences their student is having on campus. During the W.H. Thompson Friends and Family Breakfast, scholar will have a chance to introduce their family and friends to the W.H. Thompson staff members and take a peek into their life at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The W.H. Thompson Friends and Family Breakfast is a complimentary breakfast hosted over the same weekend as UNL’s Parents Weekend. To learn more about the other activities hosted during Parents Weekend and how to register, please visit http://parentsassoc.unl.edu/parents-weekend. However, please do know that you are invited to the W.H. Thompson Friends and Family regardless of whether or not you choose to participate in the other weekend activities associated with Parents Weekend.
Parking will be provided for friends and family who attend the event. Parking will be available at the 14th and Avery garage (see map: http://maps.unl.edu/14PG). Parking passes will be available with one of our student staff members at the entrance to the garage. Please look for student staff who will be dressed in a black and white polo with the William H. Thompson logo when you arrive for the event.
