Lindsay Wayt, Senior Assistant Program Coordinator, will be pursing an opportunity to seek her Ph.D. in Educational Leadership full-time beginning this spring 2014 semester. Her last day working with the W.H. Thompson Scholars program will be Friday, January 24.
Here is a note from Lindsay:
Making the decision to leave the W.H. Thompson Scholars program was one of the more difficult things I have had to do. It was difficult because I will be leaving scholars, mentors, tutors, and staff who are all genuinely wonderful people. Talking with students and staff has been the highlight of each of my days with the program. Although I will miss all of you, I know that continuing the pursuit of my doctorate degree full-time is a wonderful opportunity. Please know that the lessons you have taught me, the conversations we have had, and the time we have spent together at events, meetings, and celebrations will not be forgotten.
