My name is Taylor Carlberg and I graduated from the small town of Elwood, NE but I lived on Johnson Lake. I graduated with a class size of 15 people! I am a freshman here at UNL studying Biological Systems Engineering.

Fun Fact about me: I traveled to Germany last summer and now I have the travel bug! I would really like to study abroad during college. I have learned as a William H. Thompson Scholar that no matter the size of our campus, there are people that can and want to help you succeed! The William H. Thompson Study Cafe has been extremely helpful. I had no idea where to go to get help with all my homework and having the tutors right downstairs is really convenient . I am looking forward for all the William H. Thompson activities that are planned for the Thompson Scholars! It is going to be a great first year here at UNL! Go Huskers!
