Something I have learned being a William. H Thompson Scholar is the importance of networking. The scholars are given opportunity to socialize and meet different people while at the Study Café. The topics that are discussed are managing stress and life advice to education abroad opportunities through various weekly events and mentor/mentee relationships.
What I love most about being a William H. Thompson Scholar is the endless amount of support throughout my whole college experience. This makes me optimistic about my future and the endless amount of opportunities for self growth instead of daunting challenges.
What I look forward to this year being a William H. Thompson Scholar is getting involved in the Lincoln community and getting to know the fellow scholars I frequently see in my classes.
In 10 years, I see myself graduated from law school and working at a stable and ethical law firm.
